Coolest Toys - Fisher Price Smart Fit : Cool Kids Toys

You ever wonder why kid’s shows like Barney, Blue’s Clues, and Sesame Street, have been so popular?  Why do kids, aged 3 – 6, like these programs?  The answer is simple; these programs keep children entertained by interacting with them.  Children want to be engaged in what they are viewing or they lose interest real quick.

Leave it to the company that’s been engaging children for 80 years to come up with a product that has many of the same elements of those very popular children’s programs.  The Fisher Price Smart Fit is an interactive game system that connects to the TV.

The Smart Fit is a plug and play playground which consists of an activity pad that is placed on the floor in front of the television.  Once connected to the TV, children have 8 different learning games and races to choose from.  Through the game, children can learn letters, numbers, colors shapes and more by engaging in the games. 

Kids walk and run, jump and stomp their way through the activities they view on the TV.  So, on top of the Smart Fit being a learning game, it’s also a means to keep the child physically active. It’s especially good for those kids that have, shall we say, excess energy to burn.

The mat itself is made of plastic which can easily be wiped off with a dry cloth.  The sensors are inside the mat which requires 4 AA batteries, not included.  The mat is connected to the TV via the included audio and video cables.  It’s such an easy task, the child can do this his or herself.  The independence encouraged by this toy will make this any child’s favorite.
