Affiliate Marketing Must Haves
To be a successful marketer of products, services, or information online there are two crucial elements that every marketer can not truly succeed without; a list and an email campaign. Building a list should be the number one priority of any online marketer. Without a list, you have to rely on time consuming and sometimes costly fishing expeditions for traffic. You will have to do tons of article submissions and even some Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns to bring in traffic. With a list, you have a targeted supply of traffic that is already familiar with you and whatever it is you are marketing and have a better chance at converting them to buyers. The best way to convert them to buyers is with an effective email campaign.
Build the List
There are several companies on the web that can help you build a list. GetResponse and Constant Contact are two such companies. By far the best on the web is Abeber. Aweber allows you to build a form to collect subscribers who have to double opt-in and it’s all done automatically with the use of provided autoresponders. They allow you to build unlimited amounts of lists from as many sites as you own. Then you can set up scheduled deliveries of you newsletters or marketing offers with the sites newsletter or email templates or your own designs.
Head on over to Aweber now and get started. Your first month will only cost $1 and then you can choose monthly plans as low as $19. You can build a successful list with a few of these tips:
- · Offer a freebie such as an eBook, a report, or free sample to entice readers to subscribe to your list. Assure them you will not share their information or fill their email with spam.
- · Bring in the TRAFFIC. I know it’s a catch 22, you need traffic to build a list and you need a list to maintain sales. Follow some of my advice on how to build traffic.
- · Promote your niche on your social networks such as Facebook, and Twitter.
- · Pay for a list. You check out webtrafficmarketing.com for the easiest way to communicate with over 2,000,000 people a day. You’re not going to have the conversion rates you would get with your own list, however with just a 1% response rate you will have over 20,000 opportunities to get the to either convert or join your list. The Email Campaign
To have a successful email campaign you have to first know your niche and also know your target audience. You have to know what it is that compels them to take action. Action can simply mean opening up an email, requesting more information, or making a purchase. Here are some tips to have a successful email campaign.
- · Consistency! Be consistent with your language in every correspondence. If you start out with corporate language then every subsequent email should use the same language. A conversational language is more appealing to most people where corporate language would be suitable for Business to Business correspondences.
- · Put a benefit in the subject line! This comes from knowing your target. Use a language that creates a sense of urgency like “today only,” “act by midnight,” or “ 50% off with this offer only.”
- · Inside the body of the email, give away unique content not found on your site and offer freebies.
- · Always include a signature with a link to your offer and ask that if they would please forward this email to their acquaintances.

We all know the most repeated phrase 'The money is in the list'. From my experience it is not always true. It depends on market you target.
If you're targeting specific niche it is great idea to build a list of loyal subscribers. On the other hand you can target specific product focusing on product name keywords optimized sites you create.
There is literally thousands and thousands products to promote online.
Thanks for successful email campaign tips!
