How to Increase Your Twitter Followers Using Easy Twitter Apps
Twitter is fast becoming the king of all social networks. I say this because twitter is more than just a social network, its an incredible marketing too. I personally use twitter with my article marketing and get great results. My followers are growing by the hour. Not just any followers though, targeted followers. These are followers that are searching for what I am offering. How much better can that get?
Below, I am listing several twitter apps that I use to help me find, increase and manage my followers. All of them basically offer a similar service, but its wise to use many different apps to gain followers quickly and then weed out the followers that are not following you at a later date.

This is an amazing twitter application. It allows you to bulk follow or bulk unfollow twitter users. It also allows you to follow users from another twitter users’ account. This is especially useful when you find a twitter that is on a similar marketing campaign.
Twitter Perch

This twitter app helps you follow 20 new people everyday. By choosing keywords you can target the types of users you would like to follow you. The application searches the live tweets for your keywords and then automatically follows the twitter users for you. In some cases these the users you follow have set up an auto follow to their accounts but if not, make sure you are giving useful tweets and not always just selling, selling, selling. Always on the sell is a good way to get put on someone else’s unfollow list.

This twitter app allows you to bulk follow up to 100 users at a time. You can bulk follow or unfollow with this app. The purpose of purging those that do not follow you is to keep your homepage from getting cluttered with tweets that you probably wouldn’t be interested in.

This is a flash application that simply allows you to unfollow those twitter users that do not follow you. One of the interesting functions of this app is it allows you to sort users based on their tweet activity or lack of activity.

Following my own advice here, I went from having less than a hundred followers to having almost a 1000 followers in less than a week. This stuff works!

Oh geeze, I hadn't read this one yet! Oh well, "like minds", same goal, different strategies! I gotta tell ya though, THIS hub is like a CANDY STORE! haha Definitely grabbing a couple of them. Looks like Tweet Perch has been disabled until further notice, but you can still download the zip and install it on your own server.
I use tweetlater.com ...you can set it to auto follow anyone who follows you and/or auto unfollow anyone who dumps you too. It's also great (as is futuretweets.com) to set up #FFs if you have to be away from the pc on Friday, etc.

Thanks Pink, I'll add an update above just in case some of my visitors don't get to read your comment. I use tweetlater and refollow mostly, but it's a good idea to have an assortment of twitter tools on hand as you can see some of them don't last that long.

Shazwellyn I think they make their decisions on a case by case situation. Plus you get flagged for spam by followers so its a good idea to keep a good ratio of tweets with links to about 1 in 6. I don't always stick to this ratio but its a safe number.
Brilliant I have never really got to grips with twitter in fact I am the loneliest tweeter with only a handful of followers, I guess that is gonna change.

Another good twitter auto follow service is fastautofollow.com which I just recently found, you need not to do any manual works, your twitter followers will increase automatically everyday
