The P90X fitness program is an all encompassing system of 12 fat burning and muscle building exercises that claims to transform your body from flabby to fit within 90 days. Of cours they assume you are not a 400+ pound blob waiting for your shot on TV's "The Biggest Loser." However, they do expect you to have the heart and dedication of every contestant that appears on that show.

Tony Horton, fitness guru, trainer and creator of the P90X system will keep you engaged and motivated throughout. He developed a technique he calls "Muscle Confusion," in which he introduces a huge variety of exercise routines that prevent the body from hitting a stage of plateau. When the body hits the stage of plateau, it gets harder and harder to see results and that's when most people quit. With Muscle Confusion the body never reaches plateau.
The Workout
The system consists of 12 highly diverse and intense workout DVD's. These exercises in combination with the P90X developed nutrition plan, online support and you own personal dedication, you are guaranteed to see amazing results.
The P90X workouts include:

The X stands for EXTREME. The exercises are performed in groups on alternating days, 7 days a week. Sunday is usually a stretch day but the stretch day is also a highly developed workout routine.

Since each body is different and everyone has their own goals, the system is flexible. You can choose a route that burns bat and tones the muscle, a route that burns the fat and builds the muscle, or a route that doubles the gains and builds the muscle. The last route is obviously for people that are already in their top physical condition and just need to step up their game plan.
I purchased the P90X system 2 weeks prior to this writing and in the first week I had already gained results. I lost 5lbs. Unfortunately, I had to put my system on hold for a couple weeks because I just had eye surgery a couple days ago. I am very anxious to get back to it.. I have to say though, it's no walk in the park and in my body condition I can't keep up with the videos though I do every rep and every routine, only I do them at a pace I can handle. Tony Horton encourages you to do this... Take your breaks when you need them and drink plenty of water so you don't cramp up.. While I have put the routines on hold, I am sticking to the nutrition plan and rather enjoy eating healthy.

I'm glad I found your blog. I'm brand new with Team Beachbody and I'm looking to network with as many coaches as possible.
I found this site from my upline coach at http://MyRecruitingSystem.com guy who runs that site recruited over 100 coaches his first month. Him and his wife took the top spot with the chairmans challenge that Beachbody was putting on and Carl is flying to their home to interview them.
He is allowing a few people outside of his team to use his system and it is awesome. I got the system and ad co-op and recruited 3 new coaches my first week. I also recruited my sister but I don't think she is going to do much.

I just finished the entire P90X... like you, I was not in the recommended shape to even start the program but I pushed through. I hope you followed through. I wrote about it everyday and the exeperience was mindblowing!
